HA NOI – The VN-Index performed steadily this morning and posted a gain of 1.52 per cent to close at 459.23 points on the HCM City Stock Exchange.
Value of today's trades rose 12 per cent over yesterday to reach VND739 billion (US$35.2 million) on a volume of 32.8 million shares traded.
Blue chips recovered, with insurer Bao Viet Holdings (BVH) and financial conglomerate Masan Group (MSN) hitting ceiling prices.

HA NOI — An unexpected rise in the values of some major blue chips in the final minutes of yesterday's session on the HCM City Stock Exchange helped the VN-Index regain over 1 per cent of its value to close at 466.12 points.
The value of the day's trades fell 24 per cent, however, to just over VND584.3 billion (US$27.8 million), with just 24.2 million shares changing hands.
